Workshop/Traning Details
- Identify and engage potential MSMEs in Ankleshwar with suitable process-heat applications and significant thermal energy consumption for CST adoption.
- Follow up with workshop participants to identify interested MSMEs and obtain Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for CST technology implementation.
- Conduct preliminary technical assessments of interested MSMEs, including thermal load, process temperature, operating hours, available installation area, and solar resource availability.
- Undertake detailed energy assessments/site visits for shortlisted MSMEs to establish baseline energy consumption and determine the technical feasibility of CST integration.
- Provide technical guidance on CST technology selection and integration, including appropriate system configuration, sizing, thermal storage, and integration with existing industrial processes.
- Create awareness of UNIDO project support and explain the available financial assistance, eligibility criteria, application procedures, and implementation requirements to interested MSMEs.
- Facilitate preparation of DPRs/proposals for eligible MSMEs, covering technical design, investment requirements, expected energy savings, emission reductions, and financial benefits.
- Provide guidance on operation and maintenance (O&M) to participating MSMEs to ensure efficient operation, proper maintenance, troubleshooting, and long-term performance of CST systems.
- Coordinate with AIA Ankleshwar and MSME-DFO Ahmedabad to identify additional MSMEs and strengthen outreach for CST technology adoption in the industrial cluster.
- Share CST case studies and success stories with prospective beneficiaries to demonstrate proven technical, economic, and environmental benefits.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential CST projects, tracking each MSME from initial interest/EOI through technical assessment, proposal submission, approval, installation, and commissioning.
- Monitor and document workshop outcomes, including the number of MSMEs interested, EOIs received, site assessments completed, DPRs prepared, and CST projects taken forward for implementation.
