Appraises each proposal on technology fit, internal rate of return, payback and greenhouse gas reduction, and recommends projects to the Steering Committee.
An enterprise registers interest, at a cluster workshop or directly.
Independent site assessment, solar resource and thermal demand study, technology selection and financial modelling — at no cost to the enterprise.
The Technical Working Group appraises the proposal.
The Project Steering Committee approves and sanctions the incentive.
The enterprise commits its share and selects an empanelled supplier, or obtains three competitive quotations.
Performance is verified after commissioning; the incentive is disbursed and monitoring continues.
Outreach is open and non-discriminatory: cluster visits, industry association meetings and awareness workshops carry project information without pre-screening. Feasibility support is provided before any commitment is required. Enterprises co-invest the balance of project cost, which itself confirms genuine intent.
