One development objective, one immediate objective, and a set of indicators the project is measured against.
To reduce greenhouse gas emissions from Indian industry by transforming the market for solar thermal energy in industrial heat applications — contributing to India's low-carbon development pathway and to the GEF Climate Change focal area.
To commercialise concentrated solar thermal technologies for process heating and cooling in MSME clusters, through six lines of work: direct investment in installations, market demonstration, financial instruments that close the viability gap, technical specifications and standards, capacity building across the value chain, and a policy and regulatory environment that supports adoption.
