A further seven lighthouse projects — six MSME units and Goa Medical College — are under implementation, adding approximately 5,000 m². The Goa Medical College project received approval for 50% financial incentive in January 2026, with the Goa Energy Development Agency as implementing partner.

Capacity built

A four-day Training of Trainers programme was delivered at Goa in June 2024, rated between 4.65 and 4.97 out of 5.0 by participants. Thirty-five operators were trained at ni-msme, Hyderabad in June 2025. Five state dissemination workshops and more than fourteen business meets have been held. A national programme of 20 cluster awareness workshops and 12 technical training programmes runs across four zones through 2026.

Market infrastructure

Three suppliers have been empanelled following a transparent process against five published criteria covering turnover, years of solar experience, completed projects, qualified professionals and demonstrated technical competence. Enterprises may procure from an empanelled supplier on a single-source basis, or from any other supplier against a minimum of three competitive quotations.
